Here's the deal on privacy at Pay Per Call by Adam Young. I'll keep this in plain English, because that's how I write everything else on this site.

What I Collect

When you sign up for my newsletter or fill out the contact form, I collect whatever you actually type in: typically your first name and your email address. That's it on the form front. I don't ask for phone numbers, billing info, or anything like that anywhere on this site.

I also use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how people find and use the site. This tracks general stuff like which pages get read, how long people stick around, what device or browser they're using, and roughly where visitors are located (like city or region, not a home address). Google Analytics relies on cookies, which are small text files stored in your browser, to make this tracking work. You can block or delete these cookies through your browser settings at any time, and the site will still function fine without them.

What I Don't Do

I don't sell your personal information. Not to data brokers, not to advertisers, not to anyone. I'm not in that business. If that ever changes for any reason, I'll update this policy before it happens, not after.

How to Unsubscribe

Every email I send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Click it and you're out, no questions asked, no guilt trips. If for some reason that link isn't working, use the contact form on the site and let me know you want off the list, and I'll take care of it manually.

How Long I Keep Data

I hold onto your email and name for as long as you're subscribed or until you ask me to delete it. If you unsubscribe, your info is removed from active mailing lists, though some minimal record may be kept briefly for administrative purposes, like confirming you did in fact opt out. Google Analytics data is retained according to Google's own retention settings, which I've configured to reasonable, standard timeframes rather than indefinite storage.

Your Privacy Rights

If you're a California resident, the CCPA and CPRA give you the right to know what personal information I have about you, request deletion of it, and opt out of any sale of that data (which, again, I don't do). Depending on where you live, you may have similar rights under other state or national privacy laws, including access, correction, or deletion of your information.
